She has substantial academic experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students for various pharmaceutics related subjects. Earlier to working with SPPSPTM, she worked as a lecturer at NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mangalore.

  • Received Best Paper Award (second position) in the oral session at Golden Jubilee Concluding Celebrations & Annual Conference of Indian Pharmacological Society (IPSCON - 2017) for research paper entitled ‘Pharmacodynamic and Pharmacokinetic studies of developed intranasal formulation of Mirtazapine’ held at SVKM’s NMIMS, Vile Parle (W), Mumbai, February 15-17, 2018.
  • Received Teaching Excellence Award 2016-17 from SPPSPTM, SVKM’s NMIMS, Mumbai during Convocation 2017, July 29, 2017.
  • Received Second prize at One day National Seminar on ‘Exploring the Opportunities and Challenges in Drug Delivery Technology and its Pharmacokinetics’ for poster presentation of research paper entitled ‘Fabrication and characterization of Camellia sinensis based wound dressing films for low suppurating wounds’ held at Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Pharmacy, Chembur (E), Mumbai, February 13, 2016.
  • 2014 AMGEN Travelship winner of $1750.00 for presenting research work entitled 'Development and Characterization of Liquid and Solid SMEDDs of Rosuvastatin' at 2014 AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition in San Diego, CA, November 2-6, 2014.
  • Recipient of Travel grant of Rs. 25,000/- from Centre for International Co-operation in Science (CICS) to attend 2014 AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition in San Diego, CA, November 2-6, 2014.
  • Received Best Oral Presentation Award for research paper entitled ‘Formulation and evaluation of solid microemulsion system of ezetimibe’ in the 65th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress-2013 held at Amity University, New Delhi.
  • She was honored with ‘Shree Harsha Memorial Gold Medal’ for the year 2006-07 by NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mangalore.
