Freshers Party 2017
The organizing committee of Isthmus-Urjja and second year students of SPPSPTM SVKM’S NMIMS, Mumbai organised Fresher’s party on August 10, 2017 from 5.45 pm onwards. Packed auditorium, awesome hosts and zest of the students filled the night with an enthusiastic energy!
The event was marked by the presence of the Associate Dean and some faculty members. The fresher’s showed off their talent in various rounds. They came up with the craziest answers when asked about what they would do if they were invisible or had to pick between attendance and pizza. Their singing and dancing skills were just on fleek! The fresher’s made it clear that they also have some upcoming bloggers and stand-up comedians. A guitar player from their batch took away all the thunder which gave a tough competition to the dance performance which entertained the audience completely. Furthermore, the unmissable performance given by the seniors for the new-comers was downright amazing. The dance was just phenomenal. The vibe, the energy and the madness just filled the air and made everyone clap and tap their feets!
The hosts were best at what they did! Nobody could have asked for anyone better than them.
Credits were given to people who were best dressed. The competition was really cut-throat and the judges seemed to have a hard time choosing the winners. Mr. Fresher was from 1st year B Pharm + MBA, Pharma Tech and Ms. Fresher was from M.Pharm + MBA, Pharma Tech.
The highlight of the programme was the song sung by seniors on how to not trust them on certain things! It was really a new and a great way to make the fresher’s aware of the magnitude of SPPSPTM! This fun song had the audience grooving and asking for more.
Among the many games played, Heads Up was a big win for the juniors where the seniors lost miserably with a score of only 4/10. Antakshari was also great fun! It was between the students and teachers. The teachers showed everyone how it is done! They made the game and the whole event truly memorable with their spontaneity and presence.
The event concluded with a short DJ party where the students danced to all their favourite tunes. It was indeed a fun and memorable evening for the fresher’s!
