FRESHERS’ PARTY 2018 - 8TH JULY 2018

The organizing committee of Isthmus-Urjja along with second and third year undergraduate students of SPPSPTM, SVKM’S NMIMS, Mumbai organised Freshers’ party with the theme ‘SPOOKTACULAR’ on August 8, 2018 from 5.45 pm onwards. Packed auditorium, amazing hosts and enthusiastic students filled the evening with an awesome energy! The event was marked by the presence of spirited faculty members.

The occasion witnessed an enthusiastic participation from Freshers’ who showcased their abilities such as singing, dancing, poetry, stand-up comedy, martial arts etc. in the talent round. The bold martial artist grabbed away all the thunder providing a tough competition to other performers and enthralled the audience. Furthermore, the Halloween dance performance and a medley song performance showcased by the seniors for the new-comers was amazing and phenomenal. The vibe, the energy and the madness filled the air and made everyone clap and tap their feet! An Antakshari between undergraduates versus postgraduates-Faculty members brought fond memories of yester years.

During the event, two best dressed Freshers’ were selected and felicitated. From the talent round, Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher were adjudged and awarded the titles, wherein Mr. Fresher was Mr. Aditya Agrekar from B.Pharm + MBA (Pharma Tech) and Ms. Fresher was Ms. Ankita Paul from M.Pharm + MBA (Pharma Tech). Prior to Freshers’ party, a freshers’ week with fun-filled games were conducted. On the basis of the performances, two teams were declared as winners and felicitated with the titles Mr. Spooktacular and Ms. Spooktacular.

The highlight of the programme was a group dance performance that sent chills down everyone’s spine! The event was fun-filled and had the audience groove and ask for more. The event concluded with a DJ party where the students danced to their favourite tunes. The party was indeed a fun and memorable evening for the fresher’s.
