Students of SPPSPTM SVKM’s NMIMS, Mumbai, participated in HeteroHEPATHON – A Walk for Liver, organized by the Indian Pharmaceutical Association – Students’ Forum – Maharashtra State Branch (IPA SF MSB) on 24th July 2016. "Hepathon: A Walk for Liver” - an awareness drive organized by the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) in collaboration with Hetero Healthcare Ltd. The objective of the rally was to create awareness about the Hepatitis. The event commenced from Kora Kendra Hall, R.M. Bhattad Marg, Borivali (W). About 700 pharmacy students were a part of this initiative. Eighty students of SPPSPTM SVKM’S NMIMS, Mumbai volunteered for the program. It was a media covered event. The students used hoardings, flags, T-shirts and innovative slogans for displaying information and spreading awareness about Hepatitis among people. The event concluded with an informative seminar delivered by a renowned gastroenterologist, concerning hepatitis and its complications.
