Pharmacist’s Day was celebrated worldwide on 25th September, 2016 to acknowledge the essence of pharmacy and the importance of pharmacists around the world. We at SPPSPTM SVKM’S NMIMS, Mumbai celebrated the pride of being a part of such a noble profession on Saturday, 24th September 2016.
The theme for Pharmacist’s day was 'Caring for You'. The event was hosted by Ms. Riana Caeiro from 1st year B.Pharm + MBA (Pharma Tech.) and commenced with reciting the Pharmacist's oath. Mr. Yugal Sikri, Director-Pharma Tech Management-SPPSPTM was the Chief Guest who delivered a motivating talk on the importance of pharmacy and wonderful future of the profession. The event advanced with the semi-final and final rounds of Pharmacist’s Day Quiz evaluating the participants on topics like pharmacy, general science and current affairs. Mr. Soham and Mr. Karan from 4th year B.Pharm + MBA (Pharma Tech.) emerged victorious.
