TREASURE HUNT 2019

‘The art of finding is reserved for those that explore’

A city-wide Treasure Hunt was conducted on the 6th of January, 2019 which witnessed incredible enthusiasm from the students of SPPSPTM as well as teams from other colleges and institutions. The chilly morning weather was no obstacle for our passionate explorers as they gathered at the Mithibai gates at 8 am with their backpacks, ready to kickstart their Sunday. A total of 20 teams registered for the event were provided with essentials and refreshments for their journey. As the Quest commenced, teammates huddled together to crack the initial clues which when decoded, would lead them to five major locations. Every location provided them with a set of unfinished hints to get to the Final location. The locations were: Versova Beach, Raheja Garden, Charkop, Dadar’s 5 gardens and Marine Drive with Bandra Fort was the Final destination. Every location had a group of volunteers present to assist them in conducting tasks, thereby indulging our participants in a battle to surpass the rest. Having personal vehicles proved to be a boon as teams saved a lot of time halting public transport. Quick reflexes, team-work and hardcore stamina was necessary to perform Location tasks swiftly. A collection of Bonus tasks and on-road tasks were allotted in addition, to make the adventure thrilling. The hunt was well-designed covering the core parts of Mumbai which made the exploration even more exciting. The core committee came up with a number of spontaneous ideas, novel task suggestions and worked diligently to make it a success! Positive feedback was received from our teams as their weekend was exceptionally splendid.
