He received his doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, USA where he was affiliated for six years with the Center for Cancer Chemoprevention Research at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. He received his Masters and Bachelors degrees in Pharmacy from the University of Mumbai. He has published in peer-reviewed international journals and has an h-index of 20 with over 2000 citations.
