Mr. Ashutosh Ojha
Associate Professor

Ashutosh Ojha has over three decades of Industry experience in Human Healthcare (Pharmaceuticals as well as healthcare delivery), Crop Health and Advertising (FMCG and Non-durables) before moving to NMIMS in June 2011.

Having worked in senior positions in the industries mentioned above, his skill sets include understanding of leadership practices in very large multinational global firms, owner-managed established top 10 ranking Indian organizations in the industry as well as those in the rapid growth phase. His experience includes mega new product launches, management of large sales and marketing teams, revitalising mature businesses, pioneering marketing of Biotechnology products in the country, strategic alliances with major global players, brand acquisitions and divestments, and mergers and acquisitions of companies. 

Before joining academia, he had long stints at Orchid, Nicholas Piramal India Limited and CIBA-Geigy (now Novartis). Some of his other past employers include Alkem, Lakme (Tata Pharma), BUPA Piramal, Ogilvy & Mather and Cyanamid India Limited.

During his last twelve years in the industry, he has held senior positions in diverse businesses at the levels of President, Chief Executive and Managing Director.
