Dear Students, Faculty, Alumni, Parents, and Industry Partners,

Welcome to the Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy and Technology Management (SPPSPTM), SVKM’s NMIMS, Mumbai.

Since its inception in 2006, our school has been driven by a clear vision: to nurture competent, compassionate, innovative and enthusiastic professionals who will strengthen India’s and global pharmaceutical landscape. The aim of being recognized as a CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE in Pharmacy and Technology Management education has been fulfilled with the combined efforts of proactive management, vibrant faculty, dynamic policies and the aspiring students. Today, SPPSPTM stands as one of the premier institutions in pharmacy education, seamlessly integrating rigorous pharmaceutical sciences with cutting-edge technology management, and has consistently ranked in the Top 10 or 11 in NIRF over the last 3 years.

At SPPSPTM, we believe that the pharmacy and management leaders of tomorrow must possess not only deep scientific knowledge but also strong research capabilities, managerial acumen, ethical values, and a spirit of innovation. Our programs- from B.Pharm and integrated B.Pharm + MBA to M.Pharm+MBA, and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences- are designed to develop well-rounded professionals ready to excel in drug discovery, formulation development, clinical research, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, AI-driven drug design, and quantum computing applications in healthcare along with management profiles like product management, strategy leads, business development, sales and marketing and entrepreneurship.

Our state-of-the-art infrastructure, including advanced laboratories, pilot plant, central instrumentation facility, herbal garden, and Bloomberg Lab, provides an ideal environment for hands-on learning and ground breaking research. We continuously evolve our curriculum in collaboration with industry leaders and all stake holders to ensure our students stay ahead of rapidly changing trends in pharmaceutical management and technology.

Beyond academics, we foster holistic development through platforms like Isthmus Urjja- our flagship annual corporate and cultural fests. This event beautifully blends corporate intellect with creative expression, allowing students to showcase their talents, engage with industry experts, and build lifelong leadership and teamwork skills. Apart from that, the social responsibility forum - Kshamata, the sports wing - Excalibur, the management club - B-Gyan, and the regulatory club - Regsphere also contribute to enhancing 360° student growth. 

Our alumni are the true pride and strength of the school. Spread across leading pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, regulatory bodies, research organizations, and healthcare enterprises in India and abroad, our graduates are making significant contributions in roles such as product managers, formulation scientists, pharmacovigilance experts, strategy leads, and entrepreneurs. Our distinguished alumni continue to inspire the current generation via the mentoring initiative- Margdarshak. Their success stories reflect the quality of education and values instilled at school, and they remain actively connected with the school through events like MILAAP, Parampara and various alumni activities.
