During the tenure of 23 years, Dr. Mahesh Palkar, served mainly in K.L.E. Society’s Pharmacy Institutions at different capacities like Professor, and Principal during which major administrative responsibilities like NBA, NIRF, NAAC & PCI were successfully accomplished in addition to his routine academic & research portfolios. Till date, he has successfully guided 17 M.Pharm projects and co-guided 3 Ph.D candidates, and presently he is guiding 2 Ph.D. scholars. He has successfully completed Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship (PDF) at the College of Health Sciences, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban (South Africa). He has published > 65 research articles in peer-reviewed national/ international journals with a cumulative impact factor of > 170 and his Scopus author h index is 23. Further, he has authored or published 7 Indian patents. He has received research grants of worth Rs.30 lakhs from various funding agencies. He has worked as Organizing Secretary in organizing various state level conferences/ workshops.
