Dr. Saritha Shetty served as Scientist in Analytical R&D at Syngene Intl. Pvt. Ltd. (A Biocon Group), Bangalore. Completed projects of major client like Baxter ACC (Baxter Anesthesia Critical Care, New Jersey, USA) for analytical method development and validation using HPLC and GC as per ICH guidelines (Handled Baxter projects).

Currently, being an academician, she is into teaching of both UG and PG programs. In the year 2022-23, she served as Section Head (Pharmaceutics Department) for UG program and was in charge of Pilot plant. Earlier to this, she has held responsibilities like In-charge of Examination committee, Alumni cell, Women Development Cell, Discipline committee, Student Grievance committee, Blackboard Committee and Sports committee. She served as Member of Board of Studies.

She delivered a talk as a guest speaker at Chromatographic Society’s International conference held at The GlaxoSmithKline R&D laboratories at Ware, UK. She was invited as a guest speaker at Sandoz Pvt. Ltd., Sandoz Knowledge Centre and at various pharma colleges in Maharashtra. Invited as a Jury member in various Intercollegiate competitions, International and National conferences. She has organized various workshops and skill building activities for faculty members and PG students. She has hosted SVKM’s NMIMS Convocations, International and national conferences from the year 2007.

• Formulation development: Excipient technology, Polymer nanotechnology, Transdermal and Topical drug delivery systems, Oral and Mucoadhesive drug delivery systems, Lipid novel formulations.

1. Bagged second prize for the research paper presentation in International conference organized by Birla Institute of Technology titled ‘International Conference on Emerging Trends in Drug Discovery and Development’ [ICETD3-2022] on January 20-21, 2022
2. Won the Outstanding Oral presentation Award for research paper presentation in the International conference, ICONICA 2020-the Global Health Summit centered on the theme, "Next-Gen Paradigms in healthcare” from February 12 – 14, 2020 held at Punjab University, Chandigarh, India.
3. Won the Best Poster Award for research paper presentation in 68th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress held at Andhra University on December 16-18, 2016, at Vishakhapatnam, India.
4. Recipient for the International Travel Grant award from INSA, CICS and NMIMS organizations in the year 2015.
5. Recipient of Best Teaching Award for the year 2013-2014, honoured by SVKM’s NMIMS.
