CONFLUENCE 2014

Mumbai, 5th April 2014 | With the virtue of bringing together the past and the present, SPPSPTM organized an Alumni meet "CONFLUENCE 2014” at Santokaba Hall.

CONFLUENCE 2014 began with the feedback session and interaction of Dr. R. S. Gaud, Dean SPPSPTM and the Alumni. The Dean interacted with the Alumni individually to understand their experience and suggestions for improvement in academics as well as overall development of the institute. This was followed by Lamp Lighting by Dr. R. S. Gaud, Dean, Dr. Bala Prabhakar, Associate Dean and Mr. Sunil Chaturvedi, Director Pharma network. The occasion was graced by more than 100 Alumni from various batches and programs.

The inaugural function session was also attended by the HODs, Faculty and Staff members of SPPSPTM. After the lamp lighting ceremony a cultural program was organized by the student alumni committee. The II year M Pharm + MBA students and the B.Pharm II year students performed a group dance. This was followed by one minute games in order to inject an element of competition and fun. Games such as Break the Pyramid, Pick up the peanuts, Hunt for the COLA and Balloon Burst were played and the Alumni enthusiastically participated in the games. Great bonhomie was observed everywhere cherishing their old memories with their batch mates, seniors and juniors. This was followed by a Group photograph session wherein the alumni got their photographs clicked along with their batch mates and the faculty of SPPSPTM.

High Tea for the guests followed by a DJ party gave a perfect ending to this eventful evening. A memento was presented to the alumni on behalf of the School. The alumni were clearly moved by this emotional reunion. It was an event that created history and left beautiful memories in the minds of each and every Alumnus.
