A Mental Health Awareness Program was organized by the students of "Kshamta”, Social Responsibility Forum of Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy & Technology Management, SVKM’s NMIMS at Purushottam High School, Bandra(E), Mumbai On 26th September 2014.
160 students from Class Nine were present at this event. The team members presented and spoke to the students about various issues like those of bullying, anger, stress, depression, etc. An extremely effective session named "Anonymous” was held, where the students had to write their problems anonymously on paper. Solutions to these problems were suggested by the members of Kshamta to the best of their abilities. Following this, an ice breaker game was played. The children were also given an opportunity to showcase their singing talents, which they very willingly and enthusiastically did. This extremely learning effective Kshamta Event received great feedback from the students and staff of Purushottam High School.
