Mr. Sameer Sakpal, Assistant Store Keeper of SPPSPTM and ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) Certified Marathon Trainer took part in IDBI Federal Life Insurance Mumbai Half Marathon 2017 (21 Km of Race) which was held on 20.08.2017 at BKC Mumbai. Mr. Sakpal Ran this race with BIB No. 29862 and finished the 21.1Km Distance in 01H.46 min.
SVKM’s (Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal) Sports Advisory Committee chose him as coach for the selection process of runners (under the age group of 18) in SVKMs Shirpur Campus. This Selection process was held during 29th & 30th July 2017 in Shirpur Campus. Mr. Sakpal selected 75 runners & these selected runners from Shirpur Campus also ran IDBI Federal Life Insurance Mumbai Half Marathon for 10Km Running Race Category.
