SPPSPTM celebrated Teacher’s Day on 5th September, 2014, the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan, a philosopher and a teacher par excellence, and his contribution towards Indian education system.
Dr. Radhakhrishnan believed that "teachers should be the best minds in the country". On this day, we gratefully remember the great educationist, apart from honoring all the teachers that have made our life much more knowledgeable and fulfilled, as serving as our beacons of light.
The occasion was graced with the welcome address by Dr. R. S. Gaud, Dean, highlighting the importance of celebrating this day. This was further followed by faculty reciting Pharmacist Oath and the ‘Prayer of a student to a Teacher’ recited by all the Class Representatives. Dr. Meena C., Registrar, NMIMS was special invitee for the occasion.
