Leadership Companion Series Ep-1, a workshop on "Challenges for Gen Z/Gen Alpha in Today’s Business Scenario”, was organised by Placement Committee, SPPSPTM on Sunday, 3rd August 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., in online mode via MS Teams.
The session was conducted by Dr. Jagmohan Singh Rishi, the Transformer in Chief, aimed to equip students and young professionals with tools and frameworks to thrive in modern workplaces shaped by AI, technological disruption and shifting values.
The programme began with an introduction to prompt engineering using the 5S Framework (Sort, Structure, Simplify, Standardize and Sustain), followed by a comparison of good and bad prompting techniques and a practical demonstration of how Chartered Accountants and other business professionals can use AI for document review and audit, financial data interpretation, drafting emails and notices, invoice data entry, and fraud detection and risk analysis.
The speaker also explained how tailoring prompts to a persona yields better results, and discussed the key challenges faced by Gen Z and Gen Alpha, including rapid technological change, workplace expectations versus personal values, mental well-being, information overload and digital fatigue, and finding career direction in a gig-based, AI-powered economy.
Participants were encouraged to embrace AI as a tool for creativity, efficiency and career growth, and to build lifelong learning, emotional intelligence, digital fluency and an ethical mindset.
The session was interactive, informative and thought-provoking, leaving participants better prepared for the professional world.
