Kshamta, the Social Responsibility Forum of ShobhabenPratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy and Technology Management (SPPSPTM), SVKM’S NMIMS, Mumbai is an ensemble of people striving to create a positive impact in the society. At Kshamta we advocate that quality and affordable healthcare is everyone's right.
Team Kshamta conducted Aarogya 2020 on the January 23, 2020 at Lodhiya (Soni) Wadi hall, Nehru Nagar, Mumbai wherein over 300 people from all age groups and all sections of society participated and they were provided with a full health check-up starting from BMI (body mass index), blood parameters (Haemoglobin and blood group determination) skin, dental, eye check-up and check-up by a general physician. Based on the recommendations from the doctor’s team, free of cost medicines were distributed to the needy patients. The team also had the honour of having Mr. Vinod Tawde, the public relations officer of the Mumbai police department as the chief guest. The doctors were presented with Mementos and certificates as a token of appreciation by Team Kshamta. The students motivation was at peak with the presence of Dr. Bala Prabhakar for inaugural function. Team Kshamta truly indebted to the unending support of Dr. Bala Prabhakar (Dean, SPPSPTM), Dr Surendra Agarwal, Dr. Divya Suares and Dr. Khushwant Yadav (Extracurricular Faculty in-charge) and the University in all our endeavours.
