ALL INDIA PHARMACY QUIZ-2019 “PRELIMINARY ROUND”

All India Pharmacy Quiz Competition is an initiative by College of Pharmacy Madras Medical College. Since its inception in the year 2009, the quiz has been organized annually for students across the country. The final round of All India Pharmacy Quiz Competition-2019 was conducted on 5th February 2019. SVKM’s NMIMS SPPSPTM was selected as the Mumbai centre for conducting the Preliminary Written Exam on 24th of January 2019. For the preliminary exam, we received enthusiastic participation of 12 teams (24 students) from 3 colleges (Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy, SVKM, Oriental College of Pharmacy, Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School Of Pharmacy & Technology Management).

On 24th of January 2019, an exam based on objective questions was conducted for 30 minutes. At the end of the exam, only 6 teams (5 teams from Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy, SVKM and 1 team from Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy & Technology Management) securing 9 or more marks qualified for semi-final round at Chennai. The shortlisted team (Ms. Vidhi Gandhi and Ms. Varsha Ganguly, 4th Year B.Pharm + MBA from Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy & Technology Management) secured 15th position among 65 teams in semi-final round.
