On 2nd October 2024, Kshamta, the social responsibility forum of SVKM’s NMIMS, held its event "Kartavya” at Our Lady’s Home Orphanage in Dadar.
Engaging with 140 children, Kshamta members introduced their ongoing initiatives, such as beach cleanups and tree planting, and shared insights on environmental sustainability.
The students organised games, distributed meals, stationery, and digital resources, and promoted the Swachhta Hi Seva campaign through a special jingle.
The team members also showcased their dedication to the campaign by initiating cleanup in the premises, setting an exmaples for the children.
Through this event, Kshamta not only celebrated Swachh Bharat Diwas but also strengthened its commitment to fostering social responsibility in students and the community.
