On February 10th, The External Committee (TEC) organized PharmEx, an event that showcased the wonders of pharmacy to the students of class 11th of CNMS and Podar school. The initiative was also in accordance to the Public Health Office (PHO) community outreach campaign as per the Indian Pharmaceutical Association Maharashtra State Branch- Student Forum’s requirements. An hour-long session highlighted the role of pharmacists and included a small segment explaining the parts of a prescription. Experiments were carried out on pharmaceutics, microbiology, pharmacology, and chemistry subjects. The visit concluded with refreshments and a speech from the dean emphasizing the importance of pharmacists.
