The objective of the rally was to create awareness about Hepatitis. The words 'awareness precedes change’ perfectly captured the motive behind organizing this event. During the rally, placards containing informative facts about hepatitis were held up by participants wearing lab coat. At the completion of a 30 minute walk, refreshments were offered to everyone. This was followed by an informative seminar from a renowned gastroenterologist from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital, Dr. Poddar, who spoke about the significance of awareness on Hepatitis, its types, diagnosis, complications and subsequent treatment.
