Kshamta, in collaboration with Umang Foundation, organized the successful Swasthya event on January 27, 2024, at Rishi Valmiki Eco School (English medium) and Dnyansadna Marathi medium School, Manori. Medical professionals conducted the health assessments for approximatley 217 students in the entire day. The heart of the event comprised health assessments for students, spanning anthropometric measurements, BMI evaluations, and consultations with an array of medical professionals, including general physicians, gynecologists, ophthalmologists, and dentists. Two enlightening skits on civic sense and menstrual awareness captivated the students, setting an educational tone for the day. The distribution of kits and grooming products, along with sanitary napkins for girls in grades 6th to 10th, added a practical dimension to the health-focused initiative. The event marked a successful endeavor in promoting health awareness.
