6. Description |
The event commenced with a warm welcome by the Executive Board members, who set an enthusiastic tone for the day. To engage the children and create a friendly atmosphere, a small icebreaker game was conducted, followed by the distribution of chocolates. The formal program began shortly after the event’s sponsor Mr. Pravin Bera, Co-founder of Dr. Rashel Beauty Elixirs, delivered a motivating speech emphasizing the importance of community initiatives. The counsellor, Ms. Vidya Saudagar, the Senior Career Counselor at Wolke Careers was welcomed and shared an insightful address highlighting educational opportunities and personal development. This speaker session familiarised students with various career streams and the prerequisites required to enter certain fields. Faculty members Dr Amisha Vora and Dr Kunal Gokhale visited the event venue and encouraged Team Kshamta as well as participants from school. Following this, the kits donated by the company ‘Dr Rashel’ were distributed to the children. These kits consisted of a face wash, serum, and a moisturizer. Following this, the students were guided to various interactive career-oriented stalls– Law, Architecture, Engineering, AIML, BBA MBA, Commerce CA, Medical, Pharmacy, Civil services, Fashion designer, Graphic design & film, set up by committee members. Each stall showcased real-life models, visual aids, and hands-on demonstrations designed to help children understand different professional fields—ranging from science and healthcare to business, technology, and creative arts. These stalls played a crucial role in simplifying complex career paths, allowing children to explore their interests, ask questions, and gain practical insight into future opportunities. A brochure made by team Kshamta which included different career options with names of entrance exams, admission process and the colleges offering these courses. These brochures were distributed to the students of Dixit School. Following this, the stationery kits were distributed, supporting the children’s academic needs. The event concluded at 1:15 PM with a speech by the Executive Board members for the members and the Head of Department, recognizing contributions, reflecting on the impact of the day, and motivating the team to continue their social efforts with dedication. |

Members improved communication and counselling skills, gained event-management experience, and strengthened teamwork and social responsibility. |

The event successfully empowered students with clarity about future academic choices while strengthening the sense of social responsibility among volunteers. It fostered learning, confidence, and positive interaction for both participants and beneficiaries. |
